Job Details
Preventative Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance such as changing oil, greasing, and inspecting equipment to prevent downtime.
Repairs & Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repairs diesel, gas, and electric engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
Cutting Unit Maintenance: Grind reels, set bedknives, and adjust cutting tolerances for a high-quality cut.
Record Keeping: Maintain detailed records of repairs, maintenance, and parts inventory.
Safety Compliance: Ensure all machinery meets OSHA safety guidelines. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized maintenance shop.
Equipment Operation: Sharpen blades, set up new equipment, and occasionally train operators on proper machine use.

Experience Requirements
Experience: Typically, 2–5 years of experience in small engine, automotive, or turf equipment repair.
Skills: Proficiency with reel mowers (Toro) hydraulic systems, and welding. Ability to inspect work for quality and accuracy. Ability to work independently and cooperate effectively with others.
Physical: Ability to lift up to 50–100 lbs, bend, stoop, climb, work on and under equipment, and work in varied weather conditions.

From $26 to $28 per hour
