Job Details
An Irrigation Technician installs, maintains, and repairs automatic sprinkler and irrigation systems for two golf courses and clubhouse grounds. This role involves laying pipe, installing sprinkler heads, valves, pumps, and controllers, as well as troubleshooting and fixing leaks, broken components, and electrical issues. Technicians also perform routine maintenance such as spring start-ups, winterization, system testing, and adjustments to ensure efficient water coverage and conservation. .Candidates should be physically fit, able to work outdoors in all weather conditions, lift at least 50 lbs, and operate hand tools and trenching equipment. A valid driver’s license with a clean record is required. Previous experience in landscaping, plumbing, or irrigation is preferred, and irrigation certification (such as CIT) is a plus. The position is full-time with peak demand during spring and summer months, sometimes including on-call or emergency repairs.
