Assistant Superintendent

The Club at Cordillera is a private, 54-hole facility in the mountains of Colorado and we are adding an additional assistant superintendent to each course.

We offer short term housing as a relocation benefit to the right candidate.

Hiring Desired Requirements:

• 2 years on a golf course maintenance staff
• Irrigation repair experience
• 2-year degree in horticulture/turf or equivalent on-the-job training

Responsibilities:

• Active, servant leadership
• Safely operates the use of dump trucks, snow removal equipment, snowcat, and snowmobiles to remove, monitor, maintain, groom, and pack the facility during winter operations.
• Aids the course lead in the proper winterization of the golf course including fencing, tarping, end-of-season agronomy practices, irrigation winterization, and chemical applications.
• Operates, maintains, and troubleshoots components such as pressure relief and education valves, pumps, filtration equipment, pump motors/drives, and communication systems associated with the water delivery for the property.
• Properly mixes, calibrates, and applies chemical/fertilizers used on the course.
