Jacaranda Golf Club, a premier 36-hole facility located just 30 minutes west of Fort Lauderdale, is seeking a motivated and ambitious Assistant Superintendent to join our golf course maintenance team. We are in the first phase of a multi-year renovation project that includes upgrades to both golf courses, the clubhouse facilities, and our maintenance equipment fleet. As one of five properties within our company’s portfolio—and continued plans for expansion—Jacaranda offers an excellent opportunity for a driven turf professional eager to grow into a future Golf Course Superintendent.
Job Benefits
Salary: $70,000 – $80,000 annually (commensurate with experience)

Job Requirements
1–3 years of turfgrass management experience.
Ability to obtain a Florida pesticide license.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
Spanish speaking ability is a plus.
Passion for the golf industry with a strong ambition to advance into a Superintendent role
2- or 4-year degree in Agronomy, Turfgrass Management, or related field.
Work directly with the Superintendent to coordinate and supervise staff.
Oversee daily golf course and grounds maintenance tasks.
Calibrate, operate, and ensure compliance of all spraying and fertilizing equipment.
Maintain chemical storage, mixing areas, and application records in compliance with regulations.
Stay current on industry best practices, fertilizers, pesticides, and continuing education.
Train, supervise, and support staff in all aspects of maintenance, including interviewing, hiring, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
Oversee irrigation scheduling, monitoring, and system upkeep.
Foster a positive, team-first environment that encourages collaboration and high performance.
Deliver excellent customer service by maintaining top-quality playing conditions for members and guests.
Perform additional duties as needed to support overall golf and grounds operations
