The Director of Golf Course Maintenance plays a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of maintenance and presentation of the golf course. Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Director oversees the Golf Course Superintendent and works closely with club leadership to set and achieve short and long term goals for the course. This position requires strong leadership skills to manage a team responsible for the day-to-day maintenance operations, including turf care, landscaping, irrigation systems, and equipment maintenance. The Director is the primary point of contact for all matters related to the golf course within the club community, representing the course with professionalism and expertise.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of golf course maintenance practices, turf management, and irrigation systems. They must be able to collaborate effectively with other club departments to ensure seamless operations. Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with members, staff, and external vendors. The Director of Golf Course Maintenance will also be responsible for budgeting, planning, and implementing efficient maintenance practices while adhering to environmental standards and regulations.

Job Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of experience in golf course maintenance
Previous leadership or managerial experience preferred
Strong knowledge of turf care practices and irrigation systems
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a club setting
Bachelor's Degree in Turf Management, Horticulture, or Two Year Degree from an Accredited Turf Program.
