Road Service Mechanic

MTE Equipment Solutions, Inc. is seeking a motivated individual to join our team as an on the Road Service Mechanic covering the areas of Central/Eastern Massachusetts

We are a growing equipment dealer representing high quality brands throughout the northeast to commercial, municipal, and industrial customers.

The primary purpose of this job is to provide onsite service of equipment sold by MTE. Equipment includes loaders, tractors, industrial mowers and more.

The individual who takes this job must be a highly skilled equipment mechanic, capable of working on hydraulic, diesel and electrical systems in the field when necessary.

You will be provided a stocked vehicle, laptop, expense card, and factory specific tools. In this position you will take the company vehicle home with you every day. Each day will start from your home. You will set your own schedule working in conjunction with our local branch to ensure all customer needs are met in a timely and professional manner.

You will deal directly with customers on site. However, billing and bill collection will be handled by company and is not the responsibility of the mechanic.

Experience Requirements:

-10 years or more general mechanical experience

-5 years or more diesel engine experience

-Hydraulic/electrical repair experience

-Ability to read hydraulic/electrical Schematics is a must.

-Some certifications preferred but not required

Special Requirements:

-Must be physically fit enough to handle the demands of the job.

-Must be able to lift 50 lbs. or more from the ground

-You must have a valid driver’s License
