Position Overview
The Assistant Superintendent works directly with the Director of Agronomy and Superintendent to manage all aspects of daily golf course maintenance and agronomic programs. This individual will play a key leadership role in scheduling, supervising, and training staff, executing agronomic practices, and ensuring the golf course consistently meets the highest conditioning standards.

This position is ideal for a motivated, experienced Assistant, Second Assistant, or AIT seeking to further refine their management and technical skills in a collaborative and professional environment.

Primary Responsibilities
• Supervise, train, and direct the daily activities of the maintenance staff
• Assist with fertilizer and pesticide applications; maintain detailed application records
• Contribute to agronomic planning, budgeting, and long-term course improvement projects
• Participate in irrigation scheduling, troubleshooting, and repair
• Help with employee evaluations, hiring, and development
• Foster a safe, positive, and professional team culture
• Maintain a sharp focus on course conditioning, detail, and playability
