Golf Course Superintendent
Job Details
Skyline Golf Club is seeking a skilled and committed Golf Course Superintendent to lead all aspects of golf course and grounds maintenance at our 18-hole public facility in Black River Falls, Wisconsin. This is a year-round leadership position responsible for managing turfgrass, irrigation, landscaping, equipment maintenance, annual golf cart maintenance, and the seasonal grounds staff.
Responsibilities
• Plan, direct, and manage all facets of golf course maintenance and agronomic programs.
• Supervise, train, schedule, and evaluate the grounds crew.
• Manage annual golf cart maintenance.
• Maintain greens, tees, fairways, bunkers, and roughs.
• Oversee and maintain irrigation and drainage systems.
• Manage fertilizer and chemical applications following IPM practices.
• Collaborate with Golf Operations on course setup and events.
• Oversee snow removal during winter.

Job Requirements
Qualifications
• 5–10 years of progressive golf course maintenance experience.
• Minimum 5 years in a supervisory or assistant superintendent role.
• WI Pesticide Applicator License or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Strong turfgrass and irrigation knowledge.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy or related field preferred.
