Responsibilities:

  • Perform all aspects of daily golf course maintenance.

  • Communicate regularly with the Director of Agronomy regarding course conditions, operational needs, and inventory levels.

  • Assist with chemical applications and maintain accurate records across all playing surfaces.

  • Support all areas of irrigation management, including hand watering, system maintenance and repairs, and scheduling.

  • Lead small crews and ensure all operational standards are met.

  • Assist the equipment technician with equipment repairs and routine maintenance.

  • Support cultural practices across all playing surfaces.

  • Develop mock budgets, enhance your resume, and engage in interview preparation to position yourself for your next role.

Experience Requirements

Previous experience in golf course maintenance is preferred but not required.

Educational Requirements

Candidates should be enrolled in, or intend to enroll in, a field of study related to turfgrass management.
