Turf Technician – Commercial Landscape Services

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Turf Technician to join our commercial landscaping team. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in creating high-quality, healthy, and visually impressive turf areas for our clients. The Turf Technician will be responsible for implementing turf care programs, operating specialized equipment, and ensuring our properties are maintained to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
•    Apply fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides, and other turf treatments according to established programs and safety guidelines.
•    Diagnose turf health issues including insects, disease, weeds, and soil problems.
•    Perform aeration, seeding, mowing, and turf renovation tasks.
•    Safely operate and maintain application equipment, sprayers, spreaders, and utility vehicles.
•    Keep accurate application records and comply with state regulations.
•    Work directly with Turf & Irrigation Manager and team to meet service goals.
•    Interact professionally with clients and team members.

Qualifications
•    Prior experience in turf care, lawn applications, or commercial landscaping preferred.
•    PA pesticide license (or ability to obtain shortly after hiring).
•    Knowledge of turfgrass species, fertilizers, weed/disease identification, and treatment programs.
•    Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in varying conditions.
•    Strong attention to detail, safety-first mindset, and reliable work ethic.
•    Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
