Turf Equipment Technician
Job Details
The Lead Equipment Technician is responsible for managing the maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of all golf course maintenance equipment, including mowers, utility vehicles, tractors, and other machinery. This role involves developing and implementing a comprehensive preventative maintenance program, managing the parts inventory and budget, and training staff on the safe and proper operation of equipment. The technician ensures all equipment operates safely, efficiently, and consistently to support championship-level course conditioning.

Job Requirements
A minimum of two (2) to three (3) years of experience in the repair and maintenance of golf course or heavy landscape equipment, with experience in a supervisory or lead role preferred.
A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required; an Associate's degree or certificate from a technical school in turf equipment technology or small engine repair is highly preferred.
Must possess a valid driver's license.
Ability to work in various weather conditions and lift up to 50 pounds (or heavier weights with proper equipment).
Willingness to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays during peak season.
