Equipment/Shop Manager
Job Details
The Mechanic reports to the “Equipment Manager” and is responsible for performing, coordinating, and documenting the daily maintenance and repair of all golf course equipment. This role ensures machinery is safe, operational, and properly serviced to support the success of the golf course maintenance team. The Mechanic also maintains a clean, organized shop environment and prioritizes safety in all tasks. Del Rio Golf and Country Club has a full John Deere shop. Equipment is on a four-year lease. The 13,500 square foot “state of the art” maintenance facility was built in 2016.

Job Requirements
Experience Requirements
Strong knowledge of engines, electrical, hydraulic, and small-equipment systems.
Proficient with cutting-unit grinding and setup.
Detail-oriented, organized, accountable, and able to work well with others.
Ability to read and understand English; bilingual a plus.
Valid driver's license and availability for partial weekend work.
Educational Requirements
At least 2 years of experience working on turf equipment or small engines.
