Golf Course Superintendent

Copake Country Club is a public 18-hole golf course seeking an experienced and motivated Golf Course Superintendent to join our fun, hardworking, and community-oriented team. This role is responsible for the overall maintenance, conditioning, and presentation of the golf course and its affiliated properties.

The Superintendent will oversee all aspects of course maintenance, including pre-season preparation for spring opening, daily course conditioning, irrigation oversight, and execution of small projects and improvements. Responsibilities also include hiring, training, and managing maintenance staff; budgeting and ordering supplies; and ensuring safe and proper application of chemicals. A valid spray license is required.

This position can be seasonal (March–November) or year-round, depending on the candidate. The ideal candidate is hands-on, organized, and takes pride in delivering a high-quality playing experience while being an active part of a close-knit club and local community.
