Golf Course Maintenance Operator

Yellowstone Club’s Golf Maintenance department is currently seeking candidates for a Golf Course Maintenance Operator for the upcoming summer season! Our summer employment dates are May 1^st – October 1^st.

The purpose of the Golf Course Maintenance Operator is to complete maintenance of the Yellowstone Club golf course grounds through manual labor, operation of utility vehicles, power equipment, and other motorized equipment.

Responsibilities Include:  

• Operates riding mowers, walking greens and tee mowers, aerifiers, utility vehicles, tractors, and various machinery on the golf course. 
• Manual labor including use of shovels, rakes, trimmers, blowers, hand mowers, and edgers
• Reporting all abnormalities on the golf course such as debris, disease or insect damage, wet or dry areas, and any hazardous situations in an immediate manner.
• Grade and prepare soil, lay sod, plant vegetative material
• Keeping shop and storage areas clean and organized.
• Perform other duties assigned related to the maintenance of the golf course.

Position Requirements:

• Previous work experience in landscaping or golf course maintenance preferred
• Valid State Driver’s License
• Ability to safely lift, carry, pull or push 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand or work on their feet for extended periods of time
• Work outside in various environmental conditions 
• Ability to see, hear, smell, and have manual dexterity to use all equipment
