Assistant-in-Training/ 2nd Assistant

Liberty National Golf Club is looking for an A.I.T/ 2^nd Assistant Golf Course Superintendent with an exceptional work ethic and a desire to improve the golf course.

Liberty National Golf Club is an 18-hole, private golf club located in Jersey City-just along the Hudson River and in view of the Big Apple’s sparkling skyscrapers. The club opened in 2006 and has since hosted several PGA tournaments, including the Presidents Cup, the FedEx Cup playoff events and most recently hosted the LPGA Mizuho Americas Open. Liberty National is hosting the BMW Championship in 2027.

The position will work closely with the management team to maintain the club daily to meet championship level conditions. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Assist in daily course set up and maintenance
• Pesticide and fertilizer calibration/applications
• Irrigation repair/operation, including proper moisture management
• Toro lynx irrigation software operation
• Supervising and assisting maintenance staff in daily duties
• The position also includes opportunities to volunteer for various tournaments

Recently the course has completed its bunker renovation with installing the Better Billy Bunker.
