Founded in 1922, Manasquan River Golf Club is a private member-owned golf club located on the Jersey Shore in the Borough of Brielle. The waterfront property includes the highest point on the Atlantic Seaboard from Atlantic Highlands to Florida. Golf course architect Robert White built nine holes in the pastures and swampy meadowlands along the river then opened the second nine holes in the elevated woodlands and laurel-laden ravines overlooking the river. Manasquan River Golf Club remains a course with a flavor unlike any other at the Jersey Shore, presenting two distinct faces represented by the over 100 feet of elevation change on the property.
In 2018 the, under the direction of Architect Andrew Green, the golf course underwent a major restoration and modernization including the construction of 6 USGA Spec greens, renovation of all bunkers, and the installation of a Rainbird IC irrigation system. We are now planning our next phase of golf course renovations that will commence in 2028 along with a major Clubhouse renovation. Interns will have the opportunity to work side by side with the Superintendent and Assistants to learn the ins and outs of high level golf course conditioning and golf course management; setting a foundation for future success.

Job Requirements
No experience necessary. Only a positive attitude, willingness to learn and ask questions, and strong work ethic are required.
Must be enrolled in a 2 or 4 year turf program.
The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, the willingness to learn, and the goal of succeeding in the golf course management industry.
