The Opportunity
As Assistant Golf Course Superintendent, you will be a key leader in daily golf course operations, working closely with the Superintendent to deliver exceptional playing conditions across all 27 holes.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the daily maintenance and conditioning of all turf areas

Supervise, train, and motivate the grounds maintenance team

Help plan and execute cultural practices, projects, and renovations

Monitor turf health, irrigation, moisture management, and chemical applications

Participate in budgeting, planning, and inventory management

Play an active role in safety, compliance, and best practices
-
Step into leadership when the Superintendent is away
Job Benefits
Salary: $60,000 – $70,000 annually, commensurate with experience

Job Requirements
Minimum of two (2) years of progressive experience in golf course maintenance
Current Illinois Pesticide Applicator’s License, or ability to obtain within a designated timeframe
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Turfgrass Management or related field (or equivalent experience)
