Job Requirements
Minimum two years golf course experience
Leadership or crew management experience preferred
Strong work ethic and commitment to growth
Degree or certificate in turfgrass management or related field
The Assistant Superintendent is a key member of the leadership team, helping deliver elite course conditions while developing management skills in a positive, team-oriented environment built on communication, trust, and shared goals.
Responsibilities
Assist in daily Golf Course Management operations
Help lead, train, and mentor staff
Assign and supervise job duties
Support scheduling and workforce planning
Maintain fertilizer, pesticide, water, and safety records
Assist with budgeting and capital project coordination
Ensure safe chemical handling and storage
Support internship mentoring and development
Foster a positive, respectful, and team-driven culture
Pursue continuing education and certifications
