Our Mission at Wedgewood is to provide an exceptional "Wedgewood Golf and Country Club" experience by delivering superior services, amenities, and programs to our members, families and their guests. Opening in 1991, the Club offers amenities in racquets, swimming, fitness, relaxation, dining, and of course - golf. Designed by Robert Trent Jones II, the unique rolling topography of central Ohio features an 18 hole championship golf course full of well-defined creeks, adjacent bluffs, and stands of mature trees.
We are currently seeking individuals who are looking to grow a career on the golf course to join our team!
As an Assistant Superintendent at Wedgewood G&CC, you will be heavily engaged in all aspects of Grounds Department Operations, specifically among them:
- Team leadership and management to uphold the Club and department standards for operations.
- Oversight / Supervision of all grounds department operations, specifically including (but not limited to) daily course & property maintenance, irrigation system use and maintenance, plant health applications, and facility operations.
- Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and professional work environment at all times.
- Communicate pertinent information with managers, colleagues, and club staff.
- Participate in continuing education to maintain certification status and stay current with industry insights.
- Participate in all general maintenance activities ordinarily involved in golf course and property management operations.

Job Requirements
Minimum of 1–3 years of experience in golf course maintenance or turf management.
Knowledge of turfgrass species, cultural practices, and golf course maintenance standards.
Working knowledge of irrigation systems and equipment operation.
A Turf Certificate or a 2- 4 Year Degree in Turfgrass Management or related field is preferred.
