Turco Golf Inc. is a leader in golf course construction and general contracting in the tri-state metropolitan area. Turco Golf Inc. is based out of Suffern, NY and Pompton Lakes, NJ. Its core construction business specializes in the new construction and renovation of golf courses, installation and renovation of natural and synthetic turf athletic fields, and the new construction and restoration of parks and recreation facilities. Turco Golf's crews are highly skilled in wide array of construction trades including grading, shaping, site work, drainage, excavating, paving and demolition. The company is responsible for the new construction or renovation of more than one hundred golf courses and parks or recreation facilities over the past three decades.
We are looking for a project manager for golf course construction projects. PM will manage and oversee the construction of various projects including shaping, earthwork, drainage, greens, tees, bunkers, cart paths, and all related grassing and planting work. Top dollar will be paid to the right person.
Position Responsibilities:

Supervise daily activities for the site work and project.

Interpret and build according to drawings, specifications and other documents

Responsible for daily reporting and coordination of subcontractors

Ability to shoot, control grades and perform layout for work operations as required

Ensure that the construction project and process is operated and run with safety in mind at all times.

Attend pre-construction meetings, safety meetings and production meetings.

Submit daily work reports for all construction that takes place.

Must be familiar with spreadsheets and computers.

Qualifications:
5 years golf industry experience
Highly effective written, verbal communication and organizational skills
Professionalism and attention to detail
Ability to coordinate multiple activities simultaneously
Knowledge of earthwork operations, line & grade and general sitework installations
