Job Details
The Milbrook Club, located in Greenwich, CT offers dining, aquatics, tennis, paddle tennis, and golf for the whole family. As the Equipment/Shop Manager, you will work with the Golf Course Superintendent, as well as the rest of the team, to produce exceptional turf playing conditions. The equipment manager will be responsible for maintaining turf equipment of mostly Toro/John Deere on a daily basis. You will be responsible for implementing a preventative maintenance program, including making and/or recommending timely repairs to the equipment as well as showing the ability to keeping all cutting units sharp and within manufacturer specifications. You will be part of evaluating and recommending new equipment purchases. The shop has recently been equipped with a new Foley Accu-Master 653 Grinder, 672 Bedknife Grinder, GL-9 Golf Lift and new tool and parts storage.

Job Requirements
●Hydraulic troubleshooting, electrical troubleshooting, internal combustion engines, Drivelines,
Sprayer troubleshooting and cutting units
●Ability to grind and adjust reels on golf course equipment
●Skilled in the use of a variety of equipment repair tools
●Knowledge of computers and record keeping
●Strong attention to detail
●Must be willing to enroll in the Equipment Manager Certification Program
High School diploma or equivalent
Valid drivers licence
Ability to lift and move heavy objects
