Job Details
Pinelands Golf Club is looking for a motivated, dedicated, and well organized individual to join our Agronomy Department. This role will be a very hands on position, working closely with both the Superintendent, Mechanic, and crew to achieve daily and long term goals while also maintaining a strong work-life balance.
Pinelands Golf Club is and 18 hole daily fee/semi-private golf course located just outside downtown Hammonton NJ. The club offers a fully renovated clubhouse and restaurant as well as a large event space named "The Cart Barn". Major golf course upgrades were made starting in 2022 through 2024 which included green surrounds, bunkers, green expansions, new tees and tee complexes, drainage, and irrigation upgrades. Irrigation upgrades included brand new tee/green irrigation as well as all new double row fairway irrigation. Future club upgrades will include a covered and trackman equipped driving range plus multiple indoor golf simulators.
In May of 2025, Pinelands was purchased by New City Equities. New City Equities is a rapidly expanding owner-operator company with properties in New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Virginia, South Carolina, Florida, and Texas. With this rapidly growing portfolio, a position at Pinelands could lead to advancement opportunities within the company.

Job Requirements
1-2 years experience in a management roll is preferred but not required.
Working knowledge of Rain Bird irrigation heads is preferred but not required.
Bachelors, Associates, or Certificate Degree from an accredited university or program. Applicants currently enrolled in a turf program will also be considered.
Must possess a NJ pesticide license or have the ability to obtain one within 90 days
Must possess a valid drivers license.
Must be willing to work extended hours when needed as well as rotate weekends.
Ability to speak Spanish is helpful but not required.
