Job Details
The Links at Firestone Farms is looking to add a new member to our golf course team to fill the Assistant Superintendent position. This full time position will be in charge of necessary daily maintenance procedures, special projects, and assist the superintendent in staff management and long range goals for the golf course.
Applicant preferably should have experience in the golf course maintenance industry and be trained on basic course management procedures. These should include the ability to operate and maintain the mowing equipment, have experience with irrigation repair, and have the ability to run the sprayer.

Job Requirements
Responsible for aiding in the day-to-day management of the golf course, including but not limited to course setup, irrigation management, chemical and fertilizer applications, equipment maintenance, crew management, and project management. The Assistant Golf Course Superintendent will work closely with the Golf Course Superintendent to ensure the maintenance and conditioning of the golf course to the highest standards
Qualifications Preferred
A degree or certificate in Turfgrass Management or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of golf course maintenance experience
Ohio Pesticide Applicator's License
Knowledge of irrigation systems and repairs
Thorough knowledge of chemical and fertilizer applications
Ability to operate and maintain equipment associated with the golf course industry
Strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage a team
Excellent problem solving skills and ability to work well under pressure
High attention to detail and commitment to producing high quality work
