The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing daily field operations on golf course and athletic field construction projects. This role ensures work is completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards. The Project Manager serves as the on-site leader, coordinating crews, subcontractors, equipment, and materials while maintaining clear communication with other project managers, architects, and clients.
Daily tasks include supervising and leading sod installation crews on golf course construction projects; coordinating site preparation, including grading, soil preparation, and debris removal; overseeing sod delivery, staging, and installation; ensuring proper sod placement, seam alignment, and rolling procedures; operating and supervising the use of equipment (skid steers, sod cutters, rollers, compactors, etc.); maintaining quality control standards and ensuring customer satisfaction; training and mentoring crew members; tracking labor hours, materials used, and project progress; communicating with project managers and clients regarding timelines and site conditions; and performing physical labor alongside the crew when necessary.
Job Benefits
Competitive salary starting at $65,000 - $75,000

Job Requirements
1+ years of experience in sod installation or landscape construction
1+ year of crew leadership or supervisory experience
Strong knowledge of soil preparation and turf installation techniques
Ability to operate landscaping equipment safely and efficiently
Valid driver’s license
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in outdoor conditions
Strong communication and organizational skills
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
