Seasonal Intern

Position Overview

Aspen High Mesa Ranch is a private polo ranch located in Snowmass, Colorado. This is a unique learning opportunity on a diverse property. We maintain over 1,100 acres including a 17 acre sports turf surface for polo, several highly manicured landscape areas, hay fields, 8 miles of trails, and native mountainsides. Interns will be heavily involved in all aspects of operating and maintaining this property.  We strive to offer interns a wide range of learning experiences that will provide a solid base of skills to advance your career. We also want interns to have an enjoyable experience exploring the tremendous outdoor recreation opportunities the area has to offer.   

Responsibilities and Duties

·         Monitor, repair, and operation of irrigation systems and water supply

·         Equipment operation and maintenance

·         Calibrate, mix, and apply pesticides and fertilizers

·         Monitor and maintain buildings and structures

·         Construct, maintain, and repair fencing

·         Road and trail maintenance

·         Supervise small project crews

·         Set up polo field on game days
