Cape Cod National Golf Club is seeking a motivated and career-focused Second Assistant Golf Course Superintendent to join our team. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and eager to learn and develop within a positive, forward-thinking environment. The Second Assistant Superintendent works closely with the Superintendent and leadership team to help manage daily golf course maintenance operations and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
· Mowing operations and daily course presentation
· Spraying and chemical applications (fertility, plant protectants, integrated pest management)
· Water management
· Assisting with crew supervision and training
· Safe operation and oversight of modern golf course equipment
Technology & Innovation:
· GPS sprayer technology
· Robotic mowers and autonomous equipment integration
· New Pump Station installed in late 2025
· New irrigation System scheduled for 2029-30

Job Requirements
· Minimum 3 years of golf course maintenance experience
· Knowledge of turfgrass practices and irrigation fundamentals
· Spray license (or ability to obtain) preferred
· Strong work ethic, reliability, and team-first attitude
· Desire to grow professionally within the industry
· 2- or 4-year degree in Turfgrass Management, Agronomy, or related field preferred
· Certificate program candidates will be considered with strong, relevant work history and proven experience in the field.
