- Equipment fleet is a mix between leased and owned
- Club has a strong equipment repair and maintenance budget
- Well-equipped workshop features two lifts, Coats tire machine, Bernhart dual master 3000 reel grinder, Foley accu-pro bed knife grinder.
Position Overview
The Equipment/Shop Manager works directly with the Golf Course Superintendent and leadership team to ensure all equipment is properly maintained, safe to operate, and prepared to support daily operations. The successful candidate will take pride in organization, preventative maintenance, and precision equipment setup. An understanding of consistency and detail in a high-caliber golf environment is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead maintenance, repair, and calibration of all golf course equipment
- Develop and implement a comprehensive preventive maintenance program
- Maintain accurate service records, parts inventory, and operating cost documentation
- Manage the equipment repair and maintenance budget
- Coordinate with the Superintendent and staff to prioritize equipment needs
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Provide staff training on equipment operation and care
- Stay current with industry trends and equipment technology

Job Requirements
Experience Requirements
Minimum five (5) years of experience in equipment management or similar role
Thorough knowledge of engines, hydraulic, electrical systems
Educational Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required
CTEM or relevant technical certification preferred
