Turf Equipment Technician
Job Details
We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of mechanical systems and be adept at diagnosing and repairing various types of equipment. This role requires attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. The Mechanic will be responsible for ensuring that all machinery operates efficiently and safely.
Duties include:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical equipment, including engines, transmissions, and hydraulic systems.
- Utilize diagnostic tools such as an ohmmeter to troubleshoot electrical issues and ensure proper functioning of equipment.
- Conduct inspections to identify potential issues before they become major problems.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed on equipment.
- Collaborate with other team members and outside vendors to improve processes and enhance overall efficiency.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment at all times.

Job Requirements
Experience Requirements
Proven experience as a Mechanic or in a similar role is preferred.
Familiarity with various mechanical systems and tools, including the use of an ohmmeter for electrical diagnostics.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues effectively.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
