Polo Turf & Farm Equipment Mechanic

Approximately 50 hours per week.

Weekend work required during polo season.

Paid vacation included.

Overtime compensation can be discussed.

Qualifications

Hands-on experience as a mechanic in agriculture, turf management, landscaping, or heavy equipment industries.

Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems.

Experience with irrigation pumps and irrigation systems is a plus.

Welding and fabrication skills preferred.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong problem-solving mindset with a focus on efficiency and quality.

Valid driver’s license required.

Spanish language skills are a plus.

Perform routine maintenance and repair on tractors, mowers, turf equipment, trucks, trailers, and other equipment used for polo field and farm operations.

Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues and carry out repairs efficiently.

Assist with maintenance and troubleshooting of irrigation systems and pumps.

Assist with welding, fabrication, and assembly of equipment and parts as needed.

Support preventative maintenance programs to minimize equipment downtime.

Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.

Report equipment needs, safety issues, and operational concerns to management.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in the shop and around the fields.

Assist with other projects as needed to support overall polo club and farm operations
