Ben Wherley, Ph.D., from Texas A&M will discuss water-quality testing and management considerations when using low-quality (recycled) water sources, particularly those with elevated salinity, sodium and bicarbonates. The presenter also will discuss agronomic construction and management (irrigation, fertility, amendments, etc.) approaches to mitigating these issues using science-based research conducted at Texas A&M and elsewhere.
